South Campus Community Meeting
At yesterday’s South Campus Community Meeting, I was invited to speak for a minute about my group’s work with technology at the chicago public schools. I was part of the “quality of life” segment, during which we detailed the breadth of the University’s outreach efforts to the Woodlawn neighborhood. Our section was brief, but well-received. The bulk of the meeting was focused on the construction (with a brief interlude to talk about campus safety).
Yesterday’s slides don’t seem to be up yet, but there’s a host of materials on the South Campus Construction online already. It’s all very fascinating.
